Edward Vickery

Edward grew up in the United Kingdom and has lived in Italy, France, Cyprus and the United States as well as spending lengthy periods in Uganda, Russia, Czechia and Turkey. Edward speaks five languages and his varied life experiences are the foundation of his ability to connect and understand clients of all backgrounds. 

Edward carried out voluntary work with GAP Projects and the European Voluntary Service for two years before reading Geography and Politics at the University of Sheffield, UK and International Economics at the University of Bologna, Italy. 

Since then, Edward has enjoyed a lengthy career in alternative investments and has been a member of the Silver Leaf Partners team since 2010. He possesses significant market expertise and an understanding of both systematic and discretionary trading hedge strategies as well as private equity and real estate funds. Edward has close contacts across our industry: institutional investors, UHNWIs, asset managers, other placement agencies and B2B media. 

Edward has successfully raised hundreds of millions of dollars for a variety of alternative investment strategies. He prides himself for identifying and assisting some hugely successful managers prior to their performance achievements (examples include Haidar, Lahde and FJ Capital). Edward has significant experience in carrying out manager due diligence. He holds FINRA Series 7, 63 and 65 securities licenses. 

In his free time, Edward enjoys sport, playing football and beach volleyball when the weather permits and snooker and chess when it doesn’t!
