Shakil Ahmed

Shakil is a Managing Director, bringing over 20 years of investment banking, consulting and principal investing experience.

Prior to joining Silver Leaf, Shakil served as a senior investment banker at HSBC and J.P. Morgan where he originated and executed transactions across the financial institutions and technology sectors. He began his career at J.P. Morgan structuring financing transactions, and marketing investment portfolio and derivatives solutions for large and mid-cap clients. At HSBC, he managed the firm’s global relationships of U.S. large cap insurers and asset managers.

He advises international strategic investors and family offices in the analysis, construction, and management of their alternative investment portfolios.

Shakil earned his B.S. from the Leonard N. Stern School of Business at New York University.
